Highlights from June 4th Family Reunion Information Session

4 Jun 2023 by Teresita Guevara Smith

Thank you to those who were able to join the information session for the family reunion on Sunday, June 4th. Below is a recap, especially for those who were unable to join.

1️⃣There are 22 confirmed family members attending the family reunion hosted in Maryland.

2️⃣ The family reunion hotel at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hanover, Maryland has been cancelled. The planning committee has made the executive decision based on the headcount to find ways to save the family money regarding lodging. The hotel is cancelled and the Maryland family Danny and Terri, Teresita and Rudell, and Danielle will be lodging the family in their home, with Danny and Terri’s home being the primary home.

If you have made hotel reservations please cancel.

3️⃣In place of hotel expenses there will be a added fee of $250 per family and $100 per individual.

Example A: Teresita (an adult over the age of 18) will pay $250 for her reunion dues, and instead of paying the cost for a 3-night stay home she will pay $100 added fee and will be housed.

Example B: Titus and his family will pay $250 per adult and $150 for his child over the age of 12 for their reunion dues, and instead of paying the cost for a 3-night stay he will pay for him and his family $250 added fee and they all will be housed.

The added fee (not the reunion dues) can be paid in advance, during the reunion or on the last day of the reunion.

If you have questions please reach out to Titus Smith or Teresita Daniel.

4️⃣ Once you arrive to Maryland all activities and food will be covered during the official reunion time: Thursday evening to Sunday morning.

5️⃣If you are flying into Maryland please provide travel details to Mikey Washington. This includes if you need airport transportation from or to.

If you have additional questions, please post in comments or contact Titus Smith, Teresita Daniel, Mikey Washington, and/or Danny Smith.
